Funding Support and Purpose
- Ministry of Justice
Provides an annual budget of KHR 2,600,000,000 to provide legal aid to people in poverty who are accused of felonies or misdemeanors and are unable to afford a lawyer.
- Cambodia National Council for Women
Provides an annual budget of KHR 300,000,000 to provide legal assistance to women and girls living in poverty who are victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and other special cases.
- Legal Aid focuses primarily on two activities:
- Providing lawyers for legal representation
- Providing legal advice
